hehe i bought my PC back at chico for 800 dollars with a 19 inch monitor and it handles DOD nicely. only problem is that its in chico locked up in a storage because i am in LA. LOL. i wanna bring it here.

Check craigslist or www.hardforums.com or forums.anandtech.com. Check out the hot deals and the for sale/trade sections. I can help you with finding a good deal. The hardware junkies tend to sell their stuff off pretty quickly at good prices because they hate egay.

If you can get a copy of windows (XP hopefully) then I/you could configure a system on www.newegg.com for around $400 (without monitor) that will play DoD:S @ low resolutions (1024X768) on medium-high settings without overcclocking. Check your email for a cart full of all of the necessary parts.

oops forgot to say if you want just playabe as in able to play at smooth fps on any settings you can expect parts to cost about $300 from newegg.com
